This registered japanese black wagyu heifer we have for sale here is a pretty unique! She's out of one of the world's top marbling wagyu sires and her dam is a daughter of the top ranked animal in the USA EPD database! If you need a high marbling female for the operation it'd be hard to find one better than this.
She is sired by SunnySide 0540, one of the highest marbling bulls in the world. He carries a marble score of 4.0, top 1% being the 3.2 mark and the breed avg is 1.2, its literally off the charts. His marble fineness is equally high, and his EMA hoovers near the top 1% mark as well. You'll find two of AU's biggest names in his pedigree, the Coates Itoshigenami G113 bull and United's sire Michifuku F126. He's been one of the more sought after bulls of 2023/4.
On the dam side we have a well pedigree'd cow with data to match. The dam sire is Sanjiro 3, the top ranked IMF bull in the world, who also carries impressive Australian EBVs. He's put over a line bred Kitaguni Jr (another breed topper in terms of marbling). Essentially making this dam a genetically rare marbling masterpiece.
Back to the actual heifer for sale, as you see above we have an animal that is stacked with Australia's most famous sires. EBV wise, let's see what the magic predicts... The heifer is going to be a smaller framed slower growing animal with the expected light maternals. On the quality side of things her marble score and fineness hover near the 1% mark and her ema lurks in the top 5% of the breed. While small in size, her breed average final carcass weight combined with the high marbling places her in the top 5-10% in all Wagyu Breed Indexes! If that's not enough, she is also defect-free!.
